Accuracy Serve Contest
Could You Use an Extra $25K?

The Spikefest Accuracy Serve qualifying court will be open from approximately 11:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. on Saturday, June 16th and from 11:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. on Sunday, June 17th. During the qualification sessions, participants will serve a regulation volleyball over a regulation height net and attempt to hit a target approximately 55 feet away. All contestants who hit the qualifying target will be entered into a drawing to be held at 3:00 p.m. on Sunday, June 17th. Three qualifying contestants will then be drawn at random to attempt the $25,000 Accuracy Serve.
In order to be selected to participate in the $25,000 Accuracy Serve, qualifying contestants must be on site at the time of the drawing. In the event a qualifying contestants name is selected and the contestant is not on-site, another name will be selected from the qualifiers.
The three finalists will have one attempt each to serve a regulation volleyball over a regulation net, 65 feet, through a 15-inch diameter hole with net. If the ball goes through the hole, we have a $25,000 winner!
Here's How To Play...
1) Sign up on the entry form (space provided for each team member on Official Spikefest Entry Form).
2) Purchase as many qualifying attempts as you like. A voucher for each attempt you purchase will be issued to you on site, which you will redeem at the Spikefest Accuracy Serve contest court for your qualifying attempt(s). Vouchers will be given to your team captain when you check in.
The Legal Stuff
Contest participant(s) shall not be permitted any practice, warm up or qualifying serves from the serve distance at any time prior to the actual prize serve. In order to qualify for prize, the participant(s) must serve a regulation size and weight volleyball over a regulation height (7ft, 4-1/8 in) net and through a target opening measuring a maximum of fifteen (15) inches in diameter which is made of a solid material (plywood, plxiglass, etc.) with a sturdy net attached to the back in order to catch a winning serve. The Target must be placed a minimum of four (4) feet in height above the playing surface and a minimum distance of sixty (60) feet from where the serve is initiated. No part of the participant’s body or clothing may come in contact with the demarcation lines prior to releasing the serve. Any such contact shall constitute a foul, and the serve shall be considered missed. Ineligible persons for the contest are as follows: current or former professional or semi professional volleyball players or at that level anywhere in the world. Current or former college and Olympic volleyball players who have played at that level anywhere in the world within the past five (5) years. Current or former employees, family members, agents, successors, or assignees of Spikefest or any promotional agency involved with this promotion.
